Prof. Phillip, Cheong Ngai received his bachelor and master degrees in Electronics Engineering from South China University of Science, China and Electronics Engineering, South China Normal University, China in 1986 and 1989, respectively. He received his PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Macau in 2001.

He is currently a professor of Faculty of Applied Sciences, Macao Polytechnic University, Macau, China. His research interests include Knowledge-based Recommender System, Uni-Agent, Mesh Networks.

 He is a senior member of the IEEE, member of IET and member of MAPST (Macao Association for Promotion of Science and Technology)
